My initial choice for my FMP theme was 'Animals'. However, I wanted to link this with 'nature' in some way because they are my two favourite topics to draw about. I came up with 'Animals in their Habitats' - this would link the two ideas in an effective way; I would be able to draw both 'animals' and 'nature' but I would have had to link them in every idea/design. I later realised that my profession is mainly 'animals' and I wanted to focus on this topic. This is when I decided to develop my project theme to just 'Animals Portraits'. I could still include their habitats and living environment in this but it's more focused on animal expressions and features. My mind maps in my sketchbook show this project development and ideas.
